Happy Thanksgiving! Hope all is well with you and yours - enjoy the turkey and pumpkin pie. Take a moment to let those who you’re thankful for know you appreciate them.
Oh, and in case you missed it, check out my favorite float from the Thanksgiving parade.

I had the joy of shooting the Georgia Tech vs. Jacksonville State game last week - a fun game to shoot for a few reasons:
The first game with Paul Johnson as GT’s coach.
The first game featuring the triple option
The first game of the season
It was quite an enjoyable game - thanks to Jon Drews for loaning me a very expensive lens and body I can’t afford to help capture everything. Enjoy the pictures!
Josh Nesbitt Cutting Through the Jacksonville State Defense
Running back Jonathan Dwyer breaking off his first touchdown run.
Paul Johnson gives quarterback Josh Nesbitt a piece of his mind.
Roddy Jones celebrates after a touchdown late in the game.
Hope the pictures were enjoyed. I love shooting sports - but football (especially night football) is particularly fun and more challenging than daytime football. It was great to see the Jackets out of the gate strong and end up with their first win of the season. Watch out, ACC. Here we come.
Take care.

Last night I took some pictures of a 1996 Collector’s Edition Corvette my girlfriend’s Dad is selling. It’s a great car (drove it for date night beforehand) :) - and I wanted to do it justice with some pictures he could use to help sell the car. Without further ado - the pictures.
All shot with an AlienBees AB800 in a softbox. The top two were time exposures with multiple pops of the softbox at different angles, and the bottom picture is just a 1/50th second exposure, I think.
Enjoy! If you want to buy the car - only 96K miles and he’s selling it privately.
Take care,
Colin

Helped set up and strike a fireworks show at Dixie Speedway in Woodstock this past Saturday. It’s the smallest of the three to four shows I’ll be working on this year, but got some sweet pictures. A couple of these are courtesy my lovely girlfriend Annie. Thanks for shooting the other camera for me :)
Cheaper, faster, real GPS, thinner, and without a doubt better than my Samsung CrapJack (I’m on my third CrapJack in around a year, by the way). For $200 I can own a shiny, extraordinarily usable device made by the ultimate company - Apple
Let’s take a look at it.
*drool*
I think I’d use it mostly for the email, internet access, and calendar/organizer features (can’t wait to have it all linked into my Google calendar). Then again, text messaging will be nice, as will IM. And the iPod option is just a plus. As if the GPS. And the Camera. And YouTube.
It’s just such a sweet little device. I’ll likely be waiting in line on July 11 when they come out. Anyone coming with?
