I am testing out a new service called Jott. I call a toll free number. I dictate what I want to say. Someone transcribes it or something transcribes it and then it’s in either post to Jott.com or you can post to WordPress or Twitter. listen

Wow. That’s interesting. I wonder if they actually have a bunch of people typing up what you say. But if that was the case, how could they manage to keep up if they ever became really popular? And something makes me think that voice to text technologies just aren’t that good yet. Hmmm…I’m very curious.

I’m not sure how they do it Cooper - the recording can only be like 30 seconds long, I think. Interesting, anyways. It says its “free during beta” - which leads me to believe they’ll start charging after that. But I know I wouldn’t pay for something like this - I don’t think.

Try it out - set up an account and link it to Twitter. It’s at least a lot cheaper than sending a text message to Twitter - toll free, baby.
